In collaboration with artists Metaphysics produce and curate art experienced in the medium of Virtual Reality. The content is published in different ways: as physical exhibitions in cooperation with art and tech institutions and online via platforms such as Steam, Viveport and Oculus.

Philip Hausmeier, Founder and Director
Philip received a degree in communication design from the HSD Düsseldorf in 2003 and a Master of Fine Art from the Slade School of Art London in 2005. Since 2007 he has been a lecturer for spatial design at the HSD Düsseldorf and since 2014 has been a visiting lecturer for VR at the BTK University Berlin. He started developing artworks for VR in 2013 and is also the founder and organizer of the Virtual Reality Berlin Meetup.
Jan Ahrens, Lead Developer
Jan received a degree in Fine Art from the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts in 2010 and a Game Design degree from the GBP Berlin in 2015. Since 2014 he has created experiences for VR in Unity, specifically his uniqe VR concert of the pop band „Ruins of Krüger“. He leads the team‘s technical development in Unity.
Adrian Azadvaten, 3D and Texture Artist
Adrian is a longstanding 3D and texture artist, having created projects for MTV and other established companies. He provides his modelling and sculpting skills in 3D Max, Maya and ZBrush to the team and is a lecturer for game and motion design at the BTK Berlin.
Matthäus Oelschläger, Game Design and Unity Developer
Matthäus is a playful child who is mesmerised by systemic interchange and whatever beautiful unexpectedness may come out of it. He designs and makes games and playful pieces of different sorts under his alias ‘ttushka and for gamelab.berlin. He is in fact a grownup, to be sure.
